On Sundays, weather permitting, we will meet outside for worship. We hope you can join us! We have had a joyous time together each time we met outside.
We ask that you wear a mask and bring a lawn chair. We will have extra masks and some church chairs available in case they are needed. A few members will help folks settle in with seating. We will be sitting six feet apart, with family units sitting together. Hand sanitizer and chilled bottled water will be available. This is casual dress, so dress comfortably. You may want to wear tennis shoes in case the grass is damp. It would be best if you are able to use the restroom before leaving for the church, but our restrooms will be open, if needed. We ask for folks to not congregate in the building.
The offering plates will be available if you bring an offering, though we won’t be passing the plates. If the weather cancels our service, we will let members know through a West Side Update and through the phone tree.
The service will not last the full hour, as we will plan for 40-45 minutes. It will be good to see each and be together for worship, but we ask that you stay six feet apart. If you have been sick recently or do not feel well, we trust you will wait to come in the future. If you feel you should not come, we understand.
